I"m planning on doing the EE at MK and then jumping to EPCOT for the rest of the day. I was just reading in the unofficial guide that it could take about 50-60 minutes to transfer over via monorail...does it really take that long?

Yes, it can. Depends on how crowded the parks are, whether you get on the first monorail or have to wait for a second, etc.

Not necessarily. It really depends on the day and the time as to crowds on the monorails. If it's right after the parade, for example, the monorails at MK will be swamped. If it's towards the end of the day at any given park, then the transportation will be packed as well. On the flip side, if lots of people are leaving, then you've got lots of people headed to the parking lots and driving on the roads too. Plus, if you're driving, you have to get to your car, in your car, to the next park, parked in the lot, then walk in.

It's really 6 of one, half-dozen of another.

I would figure on at best 30-40 min gate to gate. That is assuming not waiting for monorail from MK to TTC and the connection FROM TTC to Epcot is there when you are. If you just miss a train at each location you can add about 10 min for each location which can bring total up to about 50-60 min.

Even when it does take that long, I wouldn't mind because.. I'm at Disney.
