How long of a wait for Disney transfers from MCO to Port?

Hi!

We may be booking a last minute cruise and would need to fly in the morning of the cruise if we end up doing this. I know, not ideal, but it's the only way we could do it.

Our flight would land at about 11 am. Does Disney have buses that run fairly regularly to the port from MCO on departure days (I know it's an extra charge)? I would just really like to get to the port in a fairly reasonable amount of time. I am also considering private transfers, but wouldn't mind saving some money!

The buses are run regularly between the port and MCO. Turn around time depends on whether there are debarking guest to load up and bring back to MCO as well as traffic.

Buses from MCO to port run regularly around the time you land. If you set up the transfers ahead of time and put your DCL luggage tags on your checked luggage then you can just walk off the plane with your carryons and head right down to the bus area. DCL will take care of your checked luggage to the port and you won't even have to claim it at baggage claim. It will be delivered to your cabin sometime before 6:00 pm.

Cost is $35 pp each way and is the most convenient from MCO. Travel time from MCO to port is about an hour.

It depends on other passengers and other flights. We once had to wait a really long time for another flight to come in and got to the port much later than we had hoped. Since then we hop in a cab and we get there faster and no waiting around.

Our first time we virtually walked straight on to the bus. Had a short wait for other passengers and then headed to the port. Second time we waited about 10 minutes before boarding, and about another 15-20 minutes while carry-on baggage was loaded below and people found seats.
