Poseidon's Fury closed for? Can anyone tell me about this attraction?

It is closed at least until Halloween is over with because they are using it for a house this year. I'm guessing it will take a couple of weeks after Halloween is over with get it all torn down.

for the second half of your question:

Poseidon's Fury is a walk-through effects show. The basic storyline has you going into some ancient temple where you're greeted by an overly excited anthropologist (whose name eludes me right now, so I'm just going to call him "BOB" since typing "the anthropologist over and over again is going to get old fast) going on about how the professor has disappeared.

"Bob" finds a few clues into the disappearance, and he leads you deeper and deeper into the temple (basically one show room to the next show room). Some of the effects are quite impressive (the water tunnel (currently seen in the "Terror Mines" haunted house) especially) and then you end up in the final room where a battle between Poseidon and his nemesis (whose name also eludes me right now) occurs utilizing fire effects, water effects, and some sweet projection on water. The best effect in my opinion is the quick dramatic change in the final room.

It's an entertaining show, but certainly not something you should be crying out in agony over missing. It's certainly hokey in parts, and I can't stand the cartoonish appearances of the battling titans in the final room. We skip it 2 out of 3 visits.

The guides name is something like Tracy, a name that can be used for both a male and female. It's funny, but I can't remember exactly what it is right now either (made a big impression, I guess).

I think the name of the nemesis to Poseidon is Darkanon.

Taylor is the name used.

DOH! Thank you SO much, Slacking!

That's been bugging me for at least two weeks (I had to do another write-up for Poseidon's Fury, and the fact that I couldn't get the name was driving me batty).
