How long is your mail taking?

I am still fairly new to pin trading and have't been able to get a good judge on how long i should expect to wait for a pin to come in the mail before i should start to worry. I know the events of September 11th have effected the mail in some places but would like to get an idea as too how long i should expect to receive a pin that i am trading for. So far my experience has been anywhere from 3 days to over month!!

I curently have about 5 outstanding trades that have lasted over 10 days. is this normal? Thanks all - Sean

I don't know about most states but I did speak to our mail person yesterday about the delays in the mail.
I have been paying my bills on time but they are not arriving in enough time. So every month I have to call the companies and beg them to take the late fees off my bills. I have to say everyone has been willing to do it, so it is not costing me what it might.
But anyway, there has been one death here in CT due to unknown circumstances. A 2nd anthrax letter was found today.
Our mailperson said they are diverting all the mail out of the smaller postoffices and into the large one where they are all inspected. I don't know what they are doing to them, but he said they are "inspecting" them.
I received a LBE yesterday that had a Nov 13 postmark on it. So it took from Nov 13 until Nov 29 to get to me.
I don't know how long it is taking the outgoing packages I have sent, but I did mail some packages last Thursday and have yet to hear from the people I sent them to. Peggie

and my mail to and from the USA is taking longer than normal. I guess due to all anthrax hoaxes and mail scares which prevent the mail from moving at normal speed. Funny enough though my mail to Europe gets there a couple of days compared to 3 weeks to the states.

My mail is taking way longer than normal. That includes UPS deliveries too.

Mail is taking longer than normal. I have had LBE's come in a week and a half that use to get to me in 2 - 3 days.
There doesn't seem to be inbetween -- either it's fast or slow.
I have even had Priority take much longer than it should (1 week). Sometimes I have rec'd LBE's faster from Japan than form CA or FL!
It is unusual to go past 1 1/2 weeks, but possible.

My mail had been slow since Sept.11th, at one point I had a trade take 16 days to reach its destination. Then, the past few weeks it had started to almost be normal and now I think with Christmas, it has started to slow down again.

Our mail has been taking twice as long as normal to be delivered. I thought perhaps the horses that the Pony Express were using just got tired but after reading all of these messages I am wondering if it might be something else. I didn't think Ant trax would make any difference out here. I mean there are a lot worse critters in the desert than ants but then who would have thought that elephants would be afraid of mice? (well at least that is what Dr. Seuss told me in one of his books.)

It depends on the day I guess, I have packages making it in record time, and then I wait 12-15 days for others. It took 7 days to get a package to someone who lived an hour away from me...I was getting worried at that point.

I have seen a slow down since the holiday mailings have started. My prioirty mailings took 5 days to arrive, not the 2 or three usual days.

I have been giving everything a good week, before I send a follow up email to make sure the person got it out when they said they were going to.

got some pins in the mail today, at least they are starting to come in. thanks for all the feed back everyone
