How long is the walk....?

From the HOJO to DGH? I'm starting to do some preliminary thinking about meals for our September trip and am considering the character breakfast at the Storyteller's Cafe. Would it be a reasonable walk with young kids (baby through 8 year old, but we'd have strollers for the younger ones)? We'll most likely have a rental car, so that's a possibility, but it seems like driving would kind of be a pain. thoughts?

if so you can do it, just down the street into the park, 10 minute walk I hear, then thru the gates and down... I would say 20 minutes? unless you go to the front door, then you might as well drive

GCH is the common abbreviation but if in doubt spell it out.

In DLR you would have to walk through the security check then across the Eplanade. If it was when DCA was open then you go through DCA up to the Redwoods and exit through to the hotel but you would still have a long walk back.

For breakfast, hold on tight.
Out Hojo then to the entrance to DLR
along the tramway drop off area to the security entrance
across the esplanade and out the other security gate
through downtown disney to the hotel entrance that is not the first gate and not next to World of Disney but the one after that.
Turn left and procede to a walkway and then right to the doors
turn left immediately and go past restrooms and to the lobby
turn left, through the doors and to the end of the walkway.
I am not sure but think you make a right but it could be before the turn.
You will see the pool and the central area of the hotel.

If you take a cab to the hotel entrance then it is through the lobby and to the other side of the building where you exit then on to a right turn. Again not sure which restaurant is where but you are in the general area.

The entryway to GCH's path is immediately after Sephora over on the left. Used to also be flanked by Libby Lu but not anymore. And if you're looking to the right...Haagen Dasz is over there, so if you start dreaming of a cone, stop, turn left, and go get your breakfast, LOL.
