How long is the walk to DS from Hyatt Grand Cypress?

Not much else to say or ask about unless anyone has any tips for staying there. This Hyatt looks awesome and Hotwire hotdeals has a good rate for my dates.

It's actually pretty close, but you're forced taking a long detour.

Sadly, that spot between Hotel Plaza Blvd and Grand Cypress Blvd is swampy wilderness.

I don't know if there's any sort of fence or not. But, as someone who's lived in Florida for several decades, I wouldn't recommend cutting through a wilderness area. All sorts of critters (big and small) live in places like that. Honestly, I think many people would freak out if they knew how many creepy things like snakes are living a stone's throw from theme park and resort guests.
