I think I read here that bus from Typhoon lagoon stops at Disney Spring and you have to take different bus to your resort?

Since we are going to end up at the DS, I'm thinking of having dinner at DS.

How long is the ride from TL to DS?

Thank you

TL is right across the street form DS, but the buses may have to take the back route. I am not sure of the route now that the DS bus loop has moved, but it would be one of the shorter rides. I'd say 15 minutes at the most, only because traffic can be bad around DS.

If it's across the street, is it walkable distance? or better to ride bus?
I think it's crossing 9 lanes of traffic (including the turn lanes) without pedestrian crossing markings...it's not advisable.

I agree with hakepb. It's certainly a walkable distance, but it is not set up for walking and would involve crossing many lanes of very heavy traffic. I'd ride the bus or call an Uber if really crunched for time.

we used a cab last summer (while the construction was still rampant around DS), and our cab driver was shocked that we only wanted to go to DS. Took 10 minutes, and he let us off across the street from the marketplace entrance, where there was a pedestrian crossing. I think it was less than $10 including tip.

It's not that far, but certainly not walkable. On this map, you're going between A (Disney Springs Bus Loop) and B (Typhoon Lagoon Entrance):

The location of the "new" bus loop is adjacent to Planet Hollywood. That section of E Buena Vista Drive has dedicated bus lanes, so traffic is no longer an issue. My guess is that the trip might take 10-12 minutes. Most of that length will be due to waiting for a left turn signal and the fact that buses travel very slowly inside parking lots.

There will typically be taxis waiting in the parking lot of both water parks, btw. You can use one of them in a pinch if needed.

They need to put a walking path from TL to the pedestrian bridge by team Disney. It is such an easy walk but that road is huge now and no walk signals.
