How long is the program?

I'm still unsure if I want to do the Fall or Spring Program.
I was leaning toward Spring only because when it would end...it's around May right? Towards the end of May?
And with the Fall program I'm just not sure if it'll be done before the spring semester starts at my college. Because if I'm signed up for classes at my college...and the program doesn't end until after they've already started...well, you get my picture.

So, for any of you that have done JUST the Fall or Spring Program and have completed the whole thing...didn't go home early or extend your stay....

I know Spring goes from Jan-May
And Fall is from Aug-Jan

But if anyone could give me more specific dates, I would REALLY appreciate it! It would help me choose what program I'd want to do!

Well you get to choose the dates, so I think if you choose to go down at the beginning of August, you will get home the beginning of January, etc. But the only thing with me (the reason I chose Spring) is because for the Fall program you will be in Disney World during Thanksgiving and Christmas, which of course would be awesome, but I would like to be with my family. Also, with Spring, if I decide to extend, then I can just extend through the summer, and not have to miss another semester of classes! So that is why I'm doing Spring

I'm in the Fall program right now and I'm ending Jan. 7th. Fall Advantage people end Jan. 3rd.

It ends early in January, so most schools don't start yet. However, if your school does start, you can talk to the Educational Advisors they have, and they will make an exception for you to go back early - that's what some people are doing this year.

Although there are staggered start dates, everyone ends at the same time, so your start date (besides picking FA or Fall) doesn't dictate your end date.

The dates change every year, but it's generally around that time frame of the first week or two of January. I know my school doesn't start until after Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which isn't until the 3rd Monday in January.

Wait. Does everyone go home on the same day? So if you choose a start date that is one of the later ones, you have a shorter (not by much, but still shorter) stay than everyone there?

In a way, yes. All the fall advantage cps check out the same day. Which is Jan 3rd.

Yep, and all the Fall kids check out January 7th, which is why I was bummed that I had to pick one of the latest dates.
