  • How long is the program?

  • Is park admission free (assuming so?)?

  • Are family members/friends allowed discounted admission?

  • Does it cost money? (aside from food/life expenses)

  • General information you can tell me - I'm a second semester freshman and I've just gotten to liking the idea of DCP...

  • What's the likelihood of being accepted? What if I don't have a car (if accepted and at Disney)?

  • How did this affect your college journey? Can you take classes so they can transfer to your home college?

  • How long is the program?

Varies - shortest program I know of is 3 months for some ICPs, the longest you can stay is a year.

  • Is park admission free (assuming so?)?

Yes, though Water Parks/Disney Quest have costs depending on the season.

  • Are family members/friends allowed discounted admission?

You are given a limited number of free admission passes for your family and close friends, beyond that you can purchase tickets for friends at 10% off (though most deals on-line are better).

  • Does it cost money? (aside from food/life expenses)

You have your initial acceptance fee, outside of that your rent is removed automatically from your paycheck. Some classes have a cost associated to them.

Hard question to answer as it depends on a wide variety of circumstances: how you do on your on-line interview, in person interview, which roles you're interested in, which season you participant in.

The program is designed for you to NOT need a car, though it's often preferred by CPs to have their own.

Depends on your college. It's typically easiest to take a couple on-line classes directly through your college. You can work with your adviser to set up transfer credit for the courses offered through the program. I would say MOST take the semester off, or take only 1-2 classes. I wouldn't recommend much more than that.
