How Long Is the Luau?

If we're going to the 8pm luau, about how long is the dinner show? What time can we expect to be leaving?

(In other words, if there's EMH til Midnight at Epcot that night, is there enough time to bother heading over there? (Via Disney transportation, we don't have a car.)

I hate to respond without an exact time but if memory serves me correct, it will last approx. 1 hour and 45 mins. to 2 hrs. It's a long show with many different parts to the story. We like to sit right outside luau cove on the beach in lounge chairs and listen to it while our daughter plays in the sand. It's very relaxing. hope this helps....Have fun!

We went last month, and it got out at 10:05. I was nervous about getting back to CR if the the monorail wasn't running (it was), so the time is etched in my brain.
