I woke up this morning and looks like my dd's bout with pink eye has finally got me. I started the meds this morning, and we have a party to go to tomorrow night (I'll get 6 doses of the meds by the time of the party). do we have to skip the party?

I'm assuming I do have to skip the gym tonight, right?

If I remember correctly, when DS8 had it a few years ago, I think I had to keep him home for 48 hours. Long enough for his eye drops to kick in.

Children can go back to childcare after 24 hours from receiving the first dose of drops. I would think it will be ok for you to attend.

Man, is it pink eye season or something??? I had to go get DD from school at lunch yesterday because she got it. When I sent her to school, she was fine and by lunch her eyes were red and goopy.

She has had 24 hours of drops and I am washing all the linens and towels, hopefully that will stem the tide.

thanks all. I guess it will come down to how scary I look then. lol. I was planning on wearing a red top...hmmm, between that and the scary pink eyes, my baby blues will sure stand out, won't they? ;)
