How long is it walking from CR to MK?

This is the first time we are staying at the CR. I have read that it is a short walk, and also that it is a Looonnnggg walk to MK? How long/far is the walk?

I would say that it is about a 5-10 minute walk...much faster than the monotail ( but not as fun!)

We once ran it in 5 minutes (late for Chef Mickey reservation because of dead car and having to take a bus to the MKat the last minute). We had a 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old with us.

I would plan on a 10 minute walk if you are taking it at a leisurely rate

I agree with 10 minutes if you are in the North Garden wing. I may be a little longer if you are in the tower or south garden wing. When our kids were still in the stroller walking was much easier than the monorail. The worst part is cutting across the parking lot to the sidewalk. The rest of the way is along nice wide brick sidewalk (with people names on the bricks), and pretty landscaping. When you walk, there is not stops at the TTC, Poly or Grand Floridian for passengers - it's non-stop to MK.
