how long is dinner?

I'm trying to plan and I was wondering on average how long the overall process for dinner is at the California Grill and Chef Mickey's?

At the California Grill, we've had two full meals - one was 3.5 hrs, and one was ... 2-2.5, I think. I love how much time we were given between courses - plenty of time to relax and enjoy the meal.

My wife and I just had dinner at CG a couple weeks ago. We were seated at 8:45, ordered a drink which was brought to the table right before we went to the observation deck for Wishes.

When we got back our appetizers were waiting. Like Forever42 says, there was no hurry at all. When we were done with the first course Kevin, our (outstanding) waiter took our main course orders. After the main course we were never hurried to leave, just take your time and enjoy the evening we were told.

I think we left the restaurant around 10:45 because it was just about 11:00 when the cab dropped us off at the Boardwalk.

This was the first time we've eaten there after 20 some odd trips to WDW. I guarantee this will be the first PS I make for each trip from now on. We can't wait til next year so the kids can experience the place with us!
