We will be going in January with our 6 year old son and were wondering how long the meal'show will actually take?

Also, do you think he will enjoy it?

The parks close early in January so we don't want to waste a lot of time eating but I am dying to try O'hana's!!

Thanks to all who can help!!

I wouldn't think it'd take more than about an hour. I'm sure he'd have a very good time!!

An hour is about right. The great thing is that the food is served right away!! This will keep the kids busy long enough for you to enjoy your meal. They also have some games that they play with the kids during meal time which also keeps them busy. All in all about an hour should be the time to plan for.

We were there in Feb and it took well over an hour....but, we did get to see wishes. Food was good and I don't know if they were short handed or something but the service was really slow.

Really, I think it takes as long as you want it to take. The food comes out fast and you can eat as much as you want. We took our time b/c it was our first time. We watched the coconut races and I did the hula. It was a great time regardless of how long you take.

The food does come out very quick but it took us over an hour. I think it was our longest meal time of any of our meals. The girls wanted to do the coconut races and the chaka maraca/limbo games so they were away from the table and had to come back to eat. Nevertheless, it was the best meal and we had a wonderful time! SOOOO glad I went there!

We had a 9:45pm seating and all the bowls (except desert) was served to the table at the same time, about 5 min. after we sat down. The meat came about 5 min. later. Oddly enough, the drinks came quite a while after the food, but before desert. We could have probably been out of there in 20 min, but I ordered 2 more servings of the scalloped potates *oink oink*

It averages an hour for us. The actual times have ranged from 50 minutes to an hour and a half though.

We were there for dinner last week and it took us about 1.5 hours. My kids did the coconut races, the limbo, *and* the hula, though, so it took us a long time to eat. We really enjoyed it and it was a relaxing dinner out of the park.

When I eat at 'Ohana solo it takes me 45mins to an hour.

Whenever I've been there with friends it has taken at least 90 minutes.

We ate there in December and it took almost an hour for the meats to come around!:headache: We had terrrrrrible service! We had to flag down a server and ask them to "bring on the meat!"

We ate there 2 years before that...no problems at all. We probably just hit a bad night/bad server.
