How long is a marriage license good for?

DF and I are considering going to WDW next month for my birthday (ok the real reason is to meet w/ the priest, it just happens to be in my bday )

We were thinking of getting a marriage license while we're there, or else we'll have to do it by mail and that makes me nervous. If we got it in March, it would be 92 days before our wedding. I have a feeling it is only good for 90 days though

I think it's only good for 60 days, actually.

DH and I got ours at the Osceola County Courthouse and, truthfully, the whole thing took 10 minutes. You can even download the form ahead of time.

Oh really? That makes me feel a lot better then. If I was missing it by only 2 days, I would not have been happy Thanks!

What do you need to do to get it by mail?

I believe the group we used was a Wedding for You. We filled out the paperwork and paid them a fee and they took care of it for us. That was a lifesaver because we would have been up a severe creek b/c we did not land in Florida 2 days before our wedding until after the office would have closed. The next day there would have been no time to do it either!

Thanks, that's good to know. We are considering not telling anyone that we are going to get married. This way we don't have to worry about finding a good excuse to disappear to the courthouse.

We did what JonetteA did. It was fabulous, they took care of everything for us all I had to do was sign the license and have it notorized. It was fabulous, and I didn't have to worry about bringing it to the wedding, as our coordinator had it. It was so stress free- except the fact that the Post office did not deliver it next day. They called and told me and it finally arrived to them 2 days after they called.
