Trying to get an idea for what we can do our first day at DL. Our plane arrives at 10 am at John Wayne airport on a Sunday. We are taking a private supper shuttle to Courtyard Marriott Theme Park Enterance. Would it be accurate to say we could be in the parks by 1 pm? Thanks!

Sounds reasonable to me. It is about 20 minutes from SNA when traffic is low like on Sundays. If you are checking luggage that can always introduce an uncertain delay. Once you have your luggage and to your car, you should be able to make it to DLR within an hour when your hotel is close.

It's completely dependent on Super Shuttle. It could be a half hour. It could be 2 hours. It depends on how many other people they are picking up, where they are dropping off, etc. I've been on a Super shuttle for 40 minutes from SNA one time; another time it was 2 hours.

This is why I'll never do Super Shuttle (or another shuttle) again. Uber or Lyft all the way! It's cheaper in the long run with 2 or more people, and you get prompt, door-to-door service. If you've never used them before, there are coupons/ discount codes for first riders. For Uber, the first timer discount of $22 off basically gives you a free or almost free ride.

They’re doing a private shuttle. No waiting for others.

I would say definitely by 1, possibly even 12 if flight and luggage aren’t delayed, no traffic, etc.

Thanks! I am trying to talk My husband into adding a day in the parks for when we get there. For some reason he doesn’t think we will get to the parks until 3 or 4 but he is used to DW.
