How long should we leave for Legoland?
It’s our first and probably only visit in Fl.
Kids are 8 and newly 5.
It will be the first weekend of Dec so unsure if we could even use the water park.
Dd wants to do Peppa Pig but that looks like a couple hours at the most

We were there in September with our 5 and 2 year old and one day was not enough for us, we did leave mid day for a nap because my kids are so young. But Peppa Pig world also was not open yet so we only had Legoland park and the water park. We didn't touch the water park at all and I feel like we didn't get to half the park. In hind sight, I personally would have liked 2 days there. We are planning to go back to orlando for a bigger trip with the kids either in 2023 or 2024 and will probably do 2 days at LL before heading to WDW and UO!

It was a half day park for me, and I spend a shocking amount of time and money on LEGO. Keep in mind that I’m not traveling with kids, so I move FAST. I’d say a day would be swell, especially if you can skip the water stuff, but two might be useful if the kids are super fans.

Much like Universal, LL has a ton of photo opps, but the content behind them can be a little lacking. And the employees are employees, not cast members.

Thanks for the responses. We are going to fly in on a Friday. Hopefully hit the parks for a bit depending on flight times. We were going to leave Monday morning but now DS wants to go to Epcot for one day which I don’t have time for.
If we leave Legoland on Sunday we can squeeze in Epcot. It sounds like a half day Friday and a full day Sat. might be ok. We can also do a few hours Sunday before we leave for WDW.

That sounds like a really good plan.

Not sure if you and yours are drive-in fans, but there are some real solid ones on that drive from Legoland to WDW.

Andy’s Igloo is my favorite of them, but Dino’s is also super solid - both are super close to LL. And Winter Haven has some really cool signage (I am a sucker for cheeseburgers and mid century Americana, drive-in or otherwise) if you wanted to make a quick pass through downtown.
