How long for Kona?

Even at Kona, which has always had relatively quick service for us, I don't see how you would get back to Epcot to see Illuminations.

Assume an hour for dinner (and that's optimistic, probably, given a 7:35 reservation - depends on how backed up they might be) and it's already 8:35. Either the monorail to the TTC or walking from the Poly to the TTC is going to take a minimum of 10 minutes (walking). Now it's 8:45, 10-15 minutes to get to Epcot, debark the monorail, enter the park, etc. I'm guessing you would end up seeing Illuminations from the monorail as you're entering the park in the best case scenario.

But only a quick 3 minute jog, which might lead to unexpected results on a full stomach.:rotfl2:

My advice would be not to try. Ultimately you will just end up ruining your meal.
1. You will be in a rush to be seated so if you are delayed you will start getting anxious.
2. You will be in a rush to eat so any delays in service will get you more anxious.
3. You will be worried you are running out of time so you will rush yourself and not enjoy your meal.

Believe me, I tried it at the Wave this year with a plan to get to MK for SpectroMagic and experienced all 3 of these. Turned out The Wave was our least favourite meal of the trip and I am sure this contributed to the problem.
