how long for deposit refund?

I booked a room the other day online, and then later canceled it online. It is canceled, but I never received an email cancelation (I took a screen shot of the cancelation so I know it went through, and it is no longer on MDE) and the money has not gone back on my visa. Any idea how long it takes to post back to a Visa debit?
