we are two adults going to california adventure mid week at the end of september. How long should we allow ourselves for this park. We will not be doing much shopping, browsing, or eating. we have been to wdw numerous times but never disneyland. do you think 4 hours will be enough time. thanks in advance.

It depends on how busy it is going to be and no one knows that yet as there is no established pattern. If you just want to go in, move fairly fast and ride the rides only and it isn't busy then 4 hours would be fine. If it is fairly busy it would take a bit longer...maybe. I saw almost all of the park but it took me a whole day ( I wanted to see all of the park at nightime as well).

I would allow about half a day if you're only going to be doing the rides. Daannzzz is right about going in the evening. Paradise Pier looks beautiful all lit up at night!

If you want to get the most done in the least amount of time be there 30 mins before opening. We were able to walk on SOrin' and Grizzly. As well as Screamin', Orange Stinger and other Paradise Peir rides.

I agree about being there at opening, rides like Soaring, Screaming, Grizzly Peaks have their fast pass times fill up fast. Soaring goes the quickest, we saw it sold out by 1PM during our stay.
