How long does it usually take for reply from Carli D'Agostino?

I had a situation come up recently and one of the Vacation Club advisors suggested that I write to Carli D'Agostino. I originally wrote on August 2 and then again on August 11. Both times I received an automated reply back that we would hear something within two days (although it did say they sometimes get backed up and it takes longer). Since I got the automated e-mail, I feel certain that the e-mails did get through to the right place.

I am surprised that it's taking this long, or is that normal? Does anyone know if there is any other way to contact her other than writing to members@disneyvacationclub.com to her attention? Or should I just give it more time?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi Cherry,
I used that email address and sent a note to Carli's attention early last year and she called me within a day. Perhaps she is on vacation. If you don't hear from her soon, I would call MS and see if they can connect you with her voicemail. Good luck.

Three years ago we had some difficulties with the situation we had at BCV. It took just about six months for me to get a response.

How is JJ doing? Take care and say hi to your family.... Al

Hi everyone,

I am always trying to learn the ins and outs of DVC. Can someone explain to me who Carli is and what is her function?

Thanks!

Keep sending your emails... daily if need be. I don't know why she is not responding, but it is not normal.

How much you want to bet that Carli is swamped with e-mails and calls right now?

Well if she is taking 6 months to get back to members, she can't be too worried about their satisfaction, can she? :lmao:

It's been about two years since I emailed her for the first and only time, I'm still waiting.

It depends on how busy Carli is and what your question is.

Last Dec, my email was forwarded to WDW Executive Office because it was a resort related issue. Carli said she is suposed to be specific to Member Services issues, but takes other questions if she has time. Since she was so busy last Dec she forwarded mine.

It was four weeks for me to get a response from her. And then it was another six weeks to hear from the WDW EO.

I would be more patient and give them at least 3-4 weeks to reply.

Hi, I also am waiting for an e-mail or call from CARLI. We sent a letter and e-mail 2 weeks ago and talked to a "manager" at MS.(he told me to e-mail CARLI) and he would get back to me within 2 DAYS.Have not heard from him, it has been OVER 2 WEEKS. I also gave an "ALL NEGATIVE SURVEY" when DVC mailed me a postcard online survey. I feel like "HELLO" is anyone listening!!!! We had an "EXTREMELY" bad experience at the BCV and I was told by a BC manager to contact DVC. IT is very frustrating to think of all the money we spend for DVC and NOT EVEN HAVE a return call or e-mail. We own at BCV and I am concerned with the LACK of services and the consequences. Joan

Hi, Has ANYBODY heard from CARLI recently???? :confused3 Maybe we need a new Member Satisfaction person,or more than ONE ?? :confused3 Joan

Wow. How disappointing. I just emailed her today. I guess that I can only hope to hear something back before our trip in October.

Having worked in the service industry, and at one-time Disney in Burbank, it amazes me that you have not received any response. I think the correct action for MS is to call you even if they don't have a resolution to let you kow they are working on your situation and will get back to you. It is poor customer service not to respond back to a customer in a timely fashion, or at least keep them informed that the situation is being worked on.

If you don't mind me asking, what happened at BCV? I haven't stayed there yet, we own at VWL, but someday in the future we hope to try out that resort.

Hi, I will give you the SHORT story, because I really do not want to get into any type of debate about what I should have done. First let me say that I have owned DVC since 1993,we have 4 contracts,2 at OKW, 1 at BCV and 1 at SSR.We have stayed at all DVC's on WDW property and I HAVE NEVER had such POOR service as we did this July at the BCV. And our favorite and most frequently stayed at resort has been BCV. We were staying in a 2-Bedroom(dedicated) for 5 nites.I chose the 2 bedroom because there are 5 in my family-myself, DH,DD-22,DS-18 and DS-12.We really need and use 2 bathrooms and 4 beds for a comfortable vacation. On our 1st morning (2nd day after a 4pm check-in) my Dh had been using the PEDASTLE sink in the Master Bath,a water feed line"broke" and the tile floor became flooded.(this tile floor butts up to carpeting) My Dh grabbed all of our bath towels and mopped up and put them around the base of the sink.(he also shut the water off to the sink). He then called engineering and described in detail that the PEDASTLE sink was leaking and needed repair promptly. He also called housekeeping and told them the problem and asked for more towels.(they were delivered ) We left the room for the day, but the sink was not fixed. We gave them all day and night to show up and NOTHING. So my DH calls the next morning, remember he is descibing this sink in detail-PEDASTLE sink with towels underneath. We leave and Engineering does come, but they REPAIR?? the WRONG sink! They "FIX" the Vanity sink in the master bath and LEAVE the OLD part on the vanity! My DH calls engineering again and tells them to come in the AM because we want to go to bed now. And in the morning he talks to DANNY the hotel manager.Danny is sympathetic and says he will look into it. The sink is fixed this day,but it is now the 4th night of a 5 nite stay in the 2-bedroom unit. And when the workmen fixed the sink they left the bathroom floor "dirty" with footprints and the master bedroom carpet had a large wet spot.We also had an issue with Housekeeping, they came on the 4th day to TRASH and TIDY,well we got our trash emptied but no TIDY at all. In the past we have had the dishwasher run and beds made?? When I called and asked about this in the late afternoon they offered to send housekeeping, but we had come back to the room to REST! We also had a couple of smaller issues and I was told by DANNY to contact MS. I just feel like the service has SLIPPED so far down at the BCV,and I am not sure if it is DVC or is it the BC Hotel. I say this because I noticed areas of the hotel that were not cleaned properly or regularly.I am trying to get answers because I have 2 upcoming reservations at the BCV and I would like to see an improvement in services and customer service. I also need to e-mail CARLI again! Thanks for listening! Joan

I though it was TRASH & TOWEL? I never had a TIDY.

It is Trash and Towel, no such thing as Trash and Tidy. Even if this was done before for the OP, it is not the norm and she should not have a complaint about that. The sink issue is the only valid complaint.

In the early years of DVC it was called "Trash and Tidy", but it always meant a towel change and removal of trash only, so to better reflect this, it was changed to "Trash & Towel".

So no, housekeeping isn't supposed to do anything on T & T day, other than change the towels, remove the used towels and remove the trash. Joan certainly has a maintenance issue, but the housekeepers did execlty what they were supposed to do, there is no "tidy." It does not include making the beds and running the dishwasher. While I occasionally do get this "extended" service for T & T day, it is because of the kindness of the housekeeper.

Wow!! So sorry to hear this! This type of repair should have been a priority, and there's no excuse for the wrong sink being "fixed'. I do hope you hear back soon, and I hope that your upcoming trip is wonderful.
