How long does it take to eat breakfast at CRT or CP? If a ressie is at 8:25, could we still be done and waiting at Fantasyland by 9, or am I dreaming?

Budget 90 mins for character meals...an 825 adr is not realistic for getting out by 900.

CP took us over an hour for breakfast. CRT was about 45 minutes, but we also had absolutely no delays being seated.

Not for nothing, but I've actually bribed the wait staff at CRT to get us out quickly with the promise of an additional tip.

There is no chance of getting out of CP in time, the characters just take too long and the dining area is too big for them to get around quickly.

Back to the CRT bribery story, I tipped our gal an additional 10% to get us out of the door the moment the wishing ceremony was over. We were on the rope to Fantasyland with a couple of minutes to spare. :thumbsup2

Could you be out in under an hour at CP if you weren't bothered about character interaction?

In March we had an 805am ADR at CP..we were one of the first few families seated. It was nearing 850am and we still didnt see 2 characters. we paid and left to get out to RD.
See if you can pay your bill as soon as you are seated, as long as its a buffet its not a problem. If you arent bothering with the characters and eat super fast you might be able to get out on time idk.

35 minutes is extremely unlikely. Also, there is an issue of whether you will get a table right at your ADR time. At CRT you also have to wait in line to get a picture with Cinderella, so be sure to show up a little early, or that will slow you down even more. With CP, it is all about the luck you have about where the characters are in relation to where you are seated. When we ate there in May, we got lucky with where the characters were in relation to our table and we were out in 45 minutes. Usually a character meal takes about an hour to an hour and a half. In my opinion CRT or CP are well worth not being in Fantasyland right when it opens!

IMHO, I would not shell out the cost of a character breakfast, or waste credits if I was in a rush to get out to rope drop unless it was an 805 am seating. It seems like a waste to scarf down food and run before you see the characters.I would do a CS breakfast instead

We budget 1 hour to 1.25 hours for CP, but that's with seeing all of the characters. I don't think 35 minutes would be attainable, even if you totally skipped the character interaction.
