How long does it take to upgrade to an AP?

We're planning on upgrading our parkhoppers to APs when we get to the park in a few weeks. Can anyone tell me how long this process actually takes? We have reservations for Goofy's kitchen and I dont want to be late!

It mostly depends on if there is a line, but once at the counter 2-5 minutes.

It really depends on if you have had APs before so all your information is already in the computer. If you haven't had AP before and have to do all the paperwork, or if you are opting for the payment plan, it can take 10 mins or so.

Thank you! This is our first time having an AP and we do want to do the payment plan so I'll plan on it taking 10-15 minutes.
