I know it is somewhat dependent upon the line, but when it's your turn -- how long does the process take? I have a little window of time between Magic Morning/morning time and a very late breakfast. I'd like to do it then before heading over to catch the first showing of Aladdin. But if it takes too long I'll have to fit it in another time. I'd do it later in the day, but I have to head out in the afternoon. Thanks.

Usually the AP center in DL is not that busy. Also in my limited visits there it generally seems well staffed.

I think i heard you can now do this over at DCA which would have a shorter line. Sorry, I don't know the details of where you go over there.

I spoke with my brother about this and he said max 10 minutes if even that. It was very quick.

I would agree with about 10 minutes, it took the CM awhile with her questions about how exactly we used the parkhoppers. (When was the first date of use, etc.)

I'd say it depends. It took closer to 30 minutes (with no wait at the processing center) for our family of 4.

It only takes a few minutes to actually take the picture for the AP. But it took us about 30 to 40 minutes to get through the line. The earlier, the better.

Go in the morning. It took our family of 4 15 minutes.

What locations can you upgrade an AP, assuming no new photo is needed?

I have always used Guest Services outside Disneyland gate as it usually has a shorter line. You can also go to a normal ticket window but in the morning those can have bad lines. Longest I've waited at Guest Services is about 20 minutes in line, then 5-10 to actually upgrade my AP.

I was told California Adventures guest services won't upgrade AP's, is this true?
