How long does it take to receive ME Luggage Tags?

I am a DVC member staying at BWV from Sept 11-16 and I just realized that I forgot to register for DME (doh!!!)
If I register now, will I get my luggage tags in time? If not, then what?

You should be fine. I added ME 10 days (I think) prior to our February trip this year. I didn't expect tags, but I did get them in time. I was so close, Disney couldn't add me through the normal reservation system and I needed to call a different number they supplied at that time.

If you don't get tags or use them for hat ever reason, just claim your bags and take them with you to DME. They will put them under the bus and transport with you.

I registered on line for DME on August 2nd and got the tags yesterday, the 9th. One week, I was shocked.

Disney/DME tells us that they need 10 days lead time to get your info packet and tags printed out and shipped to you. I have booked a stay about a week prior to arrival....I missed getting my DME packet by one day. They arrived the day after I left for WDW!!!
If you aren't leaving until Sept 11, you should be fine. I usually always book DME even if I'm not 100% sure I'll be using them. That way I know I'll get the packet in time.
