How long does it take to hear back from Poly Conc?

I emailed them and we arrive in a couple weeks. How long does it usually take them to get back to you?

Last yr i heard from them the day after i emailed them. Of course they may be busier this yr or could of started to wait until a 2 week before until contacting you. If you only have 2 weeks i would try to contact them by phone just to make sure of everything.

They usually respond quickly but if they have to research some information you were asking about it may be a few days.

One of the complaints I had about our Nov. stay at Poly Conc. was the lack of communication before our trip. They sent 5 identical itinerary planners after we had already sent the first one back, but it took at least 3 weeks for them to reply to e-mails or any messages I left. Our experience with the Poly conc. staff was not good at all. I hope things go better for you.

I don't want to call and bother them. I just wanted an aknowledgement that they received our email. ;)
I did not have any huge requests or anything.
 
I thought this was supposed to happen more than 60 days before the trip. Didn't they already contact you long ago?

Wow, I am truly thankful for the list of AKL contact methods. I plan to first contact them about 90 days out.
 
I only just changed my reservation to concierge last week and we go in 16 days. So the itenerary did not have time to probably go out yet. Thats why I emailed them. :jester:
 
When should we hear from the poly conc. staff, I read on tikiman's site that they may not contact you (cause of various problems), so I don't want to be a pest and e-mail them if its still to early. But this is the 1st time we knew ahead of time that we were staying concerige & I can't wait to fill out our questioneer! Does anyone know if your table or seating etc... is better if you go through the concerige in reggard to ps's or is it the same if you do it yourself. MKY (very excited about our stay!):D
 
Sometimes it can take up to a week before you get an answer but since you are so close to your arrival date, I don't think that a follow-up email is inappropriate. Last year they usually got back to us in 1 or 2 days and this year it seems to be taking longer 3 days, sometimes a week but they always do get back to us. Make sure you tell them it is your honeymoon, they usually do something special for special occassions. Have fun, we will be there on the 27th and my sister and her family arrive on the 1st.
 
The concierge staff at Polynesian is usually very prompt in replying to e-mails. I sent one yesterday and it was answered last evening. Our trip isn't until June!

My first e-mail (after receiving the PVI form at 90 days out) was answered within a couple of days. This e-mail contained all of our PS requests, room requests, etc.

First contact by concierge (the PVI form) should come between 90-60 days from check-in date. SOMETIMES, this form isn't mailed because they do not have your address, e.g., you booked through a travel agent and therefore the res is "owned" by the agent. IF you don't receive a PVI AND you know what your PS, room requests, etc. will be, e-mail the concierge staff at the addy on Tikiman's site (and listed many times here, too). Here it is again for those in need:

It is so nice getting those e-mails--makes you feel as if your trip is just around the corner! :)
 
We got our email yesterday. I am really excited and I like the personal attention/service that concierge has added to our trip.:smooth:
 
Today is 95 days out so I guess it will be pretty soon (hoping)! We booked ourselves through cro on ap rate. Can't wait. Question on my ressie sheet from cro it doesn't say concerige just garden, so we called and was told no its gv concerige and not to worry, anyone else? Thanks! MKY:sunny:
 
I have stayed in Poly Conc. 4 times in the last year and a half. Sometimes I get an itinerary, sometimes, not. I don't use conc. for PSs since I feel that I do better on my own. If I need conc. service for something, I will email them or call. It often takes a day or two to hear back but they do return calls fairly promptly. Have fun on your trip! We love the convenience of the Hawaii bldg. and the food service. It makes the trip so much easier. Threehearts
