Don't know if I'm posting in the right section, so sorry in advance! I was just wondering if I took the monorail from the Poly to the TTC, and then the TTC to EPCOT, about how long would it usually take? I have an ADR at Via Napoli at 11:30 am, so I was just wondering what time I should leave the hotel. I was wondering if 10:00 would be too late?

Even though we've stayed at the Poly a few times, I have not done this..... but I would have to believe that there is a bus from the Poly to EPCOT. That would save you a considerable amount of time on the monorail, especially since the TTC stop is the last one before the Poly. If there a bus from the TTC to EPCOT (I'm not sure there is ), it would probably be quicker to walk to the TTC (a 10 - 15 minute walk when we've done it).

Once you get on the monorail, the loop to TTC takes 20 minutes. It can take 10 minutes before a monorail comes so it's up to 30 minutes just to get to TTC via monorail. Walking from Poly takes 5 minutes (+- a few minutes depending on where your room is located). I highly recommend you walk to TTC.

Definitely leave yourself extra time. I think the monorail only takes maybe 10 minutes once you're on it but on our last trip, one of our waits for the Epcot monorail was around 35 minutes.

Don't forget to allow 20 minutes to walk from the FW entrance all the way to the far end of WS.

If you walk to TTC then leaving your room by 10:30 SHOULD be more than enough but I like having extra time so I'd probably leave by 10:00 and take in some WS when I arrive early. I have some anxiety over possibly being late for things so I prefer to be way too early and then just enjoy all the extra time looking around while waiting.

I'd say it's about ten minutes of actual monorail travel time once you are on the monorail from the TTC (Which is walking distance from the POLY)

People often forget about some steps that add up in time*
PR to TTC
TTC to Epcot
*Monorail station to Epcot security and process through security
WS opens at 11am
*Security to WS-Italy

There is no bus from Poly to Epcot.

We've found the quickest way is to walk to the TTC & take the Epcot monorail. That's 15 min door to door on a good day when all the stars aligned, 30 min when we walked slow, or there was a line at the TTC and we just missed the monorail. Also factor in security & bag check at the Epcot entrance, if it's peak time this will add time. You can also monorail from the front of Poly to the TTC (but you make other stops before the TTC), then transfer to the Epcot monorail, but that will take 30 min. door to door with the other stops.

10:00 should be plenty of time, but like the PP have recommended, you should walk from the Poly to the TTC rather than take the resort loop monorail there. It's really a short walk, just 5 to 10 minutes depending on where your room is at the Poly. But taking the resort loop monorail could take 20 minutes or more to get to the TTC.

From the TTC, you will catch the Epcot monorail and that's about a 10 minute ride to Epcot. Then you have to get through bag check at Epcot (if you are carrying a bag) and walk to the Italy pavillion, which is quite a hike from the front gates.

Leaving your room at the Poly at 10:00 will probably get you there with a lot of time to spare, but you don't want to cut it closer in case something happens at any point in the process that could delay you (monorail delay, extra long lines at bag check).

I agree, there is a walking path that runs in front of Tahiti, a short 5 min walk to TTC and Epcot monorail.
Taking the monorail to TTC would be longer as it stops at GF, MK & CR before arriving at TTC.

It's a long walk from the Epcot gates to Italy. It is in the very back of the park. I'd estimate a mile. We had an ADR at Coral Reef. Leaving from the CR, it took us nearly an hour, and we were booking, too!

Don't monorail over to the TTC...just walk. There is a very nice sidewalk that takes you right there...then onto the Epcot line, which takes about 10 mins or so. Then, through security, and off to Italy...about 25 mins.

Or....monorail to the MK and hop on the YC/BC or BW bus...then enter WS via the International Gateway.

thank you all for your replies! I never though about walking to TTC lol! I'm a Poly newbie ;) I guess that is what I'll do, and then catch the monorail to Epcot :thumbsup2
