How long does it take to get mail from Castaway Cay????

We mailed cover letters and postcards to ourselves and others on October 11, 2002 from Castaway Cay. Still no sign of them yet. I put the stamps purchased there on the postcards, but I am wondering if that was enough postage for the letters? Anyone remember the denomination of the ship stamps? Anyone remember the time it took to get the mail?

It took about 3 weeks for our postcards to arrive from Castaway Cay. (We also dropped some in the mailbox at Orlando airport that arrived in two days.)

There are two speeds in the Caribbean - slow and stop.

We sent four postcards from the PO on Castaway Cay.

The fastest was to four weeks and the last one to arrive took aboput 10 weeks. All mailed at the same time....

We were there the same day, and rather than stand in line, we thought we'd go to the post office at the end of the day...Unfortunately, they ran out of postcards...

Too bad for me!!!

when we cruised last January, (first full week), it took almost six weeks for the post cards to make it home, so don't look for too speedy delivery of the post cards...

I mailed a postcard to our ds on 10/9 and it arrived yesterday, 10/31. So your mail will probably arrive soon.

And here's the kicker. I sent a postcard home from St. Thomas last week and it beat us home! Took only 3 days. US Post Office, I know, but still...
