How long does it take to get from DL to Orange County Airport at night?

We are planning on taking Supershuttle to the Orange County Airport. Our flight is 9:30 at night and they are recommending shuttle pick-up at 7:40-7:55. Do you think that is OK?

How bad is the traffic in that direction at 7:45 at night? How far in advance should we be at SNA?

We want to maximize our time in DL, but also don't want to miss our flight. What do you guys recommend??

We leave on a Friday in January - the 11th I think. No holidays, but it is a weekend. Not sure if that matters.

I was thinking to agree with Supershuttle, but I thought I would ask some real "experts".

Hi LuvDisney!

I agree with the time estimate that Super Shuttle is giving you. It will probably take about 20-30 minutes to get over to SNA, and the airport does recommend that you get there about an hour before you're scheduled to depart. So that should be perfect!

PS- I forgot to ask what day you were flying out! If you are leaving on a holiday/heavy travel day, then you will definitely want to give yourself a little more time. But, Super Shuttle does this all the time, so they should know what's best.
