How long (how many days) does it take to experience Disneyland? We would go in middle of June. This would be our first time at DL but have been to WDW several times.

Thanks for any who share their opinion!

You will get some good answers and information on DL on the DL forum here.

I think to see both DL and DCA and Downtown Disney there, probably three days. That is the amount of days I would plan for. If you like rollercoasters, you may want to add another day to do Magic Mountain which is around 1 hour away. Lots of good rides there.

3 days for DL and a half day for DCA (evenings are nicer here) .

That will give you enough time to do everything at a moderate pace and chance to go back to your favorites.
Make use of fast pass for Splash, Autopia and Indy in DL and Soaring in DCA.

Others have noticed that some rides are not "linked" into the fast pass sytem. So you can pick up an extra fast pass while still holding one at Pirates, Haunted Mansion and Roger Rabbit spin.
Grizzly River Rapids (GRR) is also "disconnected" in DCA.

You can also park hop and hold fast passes in BOTH parks at the same time.

CMs only look at start times and date on fast pass. Don't worry about fast pass times expiring.

Commando style not necessary! :)

Yes, I would say 3 nights, 4 days to do both DL and DCA. This would be without rushing and stress and during the week when crowds are lower. I have read too many reports from people who visit for two nights and didn't get to see many things on their priority list and just say "oh well, next time". Well, I would book the extra days and ENJOY!:D :D :D

If this is your first trip to Disneyland I would plan on 4 - 5 days to "see/do everything." I would plan on 2 - 2.5 days for Disneyland. 1 full day at DCA. And a half day to see Downtown Disney, etc.
