We sent all of our paperwork back last Friday...I was able to access the DVC website using our member number last night.

Does that mean we're owners?:Pinkbounc

the id code for the DVC member is not your member number.

Call Ms on Monday and ask them - if they can find you without trouble (may need your SSN) - then yes you are a member!!!

Welcome Home!!!

I noticed from your sig that you bought into SSR. In that case you will not close until about a month before the estimated occupancy date on your Purchase Agreement. The "closing" cannot occur until the property is nearly ready for occupancy.

However, as soon as you give your deposit you are technically a member of DVC. You should have no problem making reservations after 12/1/

Oh, okay. Then I guess we must have passed all of the qualifications of the loan and such, not that I was concerned about that. But when I first received my package from DVC I could not access the DVC member board with that number and last night I did.

Has anyone done this?......

When we bought we said that we would pay it off with Disney's finance plan automatically taken from our checking acct. And now we have decided to pay it in full when our first payment is due on June 15, 2004.

I guess we could call someone and tell them that we're going to do this.

When you are finally approved for financing you will receive a formal letter from DVC. It takes a couple of weeks for that letter to arrive.

With regard to the web site access, if you're talking about being able to enter your member number and receive email notices, it normally takes a few weeks for that to occur. What you experienced were normal delays.

When you're ready to pay off your DVC financed amount, just give them a call and they will walk you through the process. It's not difficult at all, and they are very used to this happening.
