Hello!
We have booked the Disney Dreams Cruise that sails on June 12, 2011. DH and I want to do a Vow Renewal on Castaway Cay for our 10th Wedding Anniversary on this cruise.
I called Disney Weddings last Wednesday July 28th. They took my info and said that a Wedding Planner would call me back.
I did get the introductory e-mail from Disney Weddings last week.
I called back AM Wednesday August 4th as I had not heard anything. Wedding Planner called me back that afternoon. I was in a meeting so by the time I ran out to answer my phone I had lost the call. I called back. Disney staff tried to connect me but her line was busy. I wasn't so worried about this as this happens to me all the time when I'm calling clients at work.
On Thursday I did get a greeting e-mail from her. I e-mailed back that my main concern now was to get the date booked for next year. I gave the specific dates that we were looking at. I'm waiting to hear back.
I guess I'm so used to calling to book a resort room, cruise etc and being able to book that day. I know that booking a vow renewal is different though.
I just want to get our date booked for our vow renewal. When that's done I can chill out.
I think I just need to be patient here. I just need reassurance that it just takes time for the busy Disney Wedding Planner to get back in touch with me!! I know that she has a lot of clients and that I'm one fish in the pond so to speak.
