MK?
Epcot?
Hollywood?
AK?
Disney's Polynesian Resort (Ohana's restaurant)?
DTD?
Grand Floridian Resort?
From Poly to AK?

What would be the easier way to get from point A to point B as I will have 3 kiddos in tow with myself and no help or car.:worship:

Thanks in advance

Guide has a chart of transportation times between points in WDW. The times are the average times based on their observations and includes Disney transportation and use of a car. You can usually find it ina library or you can look at it in a book store. It's probably the most comprehensive guide out there. (The have a new picture version that's not nearly as comprehensive.)

From POR to MK, Epcot and DHS it's roughly 30 minutes. It may seem odd that they are so close together but that includes wait times for the bus and time to get to the park entrance. This is an average time. If you just miss the previous bus the time could be ten minutes or so longer. MK to DAK is about 40 minutes. Poly to DAK is about 30.

Disney does not provide direct transportation between resorts. For the Poly and Grand Floridian you'll need to go to the MK and catch the resort monorail. That should add about 15 - 20 minutes. Be careful not to take the T&TC monorail. It does not stop at the resorts. If you do take it by mistake get off at the T&TC. The resort monorail stops there also. (You can walk from the T&TC to the Poly but not the GF.

For DTD you'll want to take the boat. The bus makes a number of stops and will take a long time. The boat ride is relaxing and there are things to keep the kids' attentions. You'll make a stop at POFQ to pick up passengers. I'm guessing it will be about 25 minutes. We do this every trip from POFQ but I have never really paid attention to the time it takes. The boat will drop you off in the Marketplace portion of DTD near Rain Forest Cafe.

Thank you so much for your help. 30-40 is not that bad. I was invisionning about an hour to an hour half.

I did not realise the times were that long from POR! It does not seem like it at all and the boat to DTD is lovely we took the chance of going to DTD almost every night last year as we loved how peaceful it was and that view when you get to DTD does not get old.

Found this. Might help you and others. Caveat. I've never used it so not sure how accurate.

We always allow 1 hour to 1.5 hours transportation time for any reservations, because you never know when the unexpected will happen. Been there done that, and we are a group of only 2 adults.

Keep in mind it is easier to travel from theme park (or Downtown Disney) to resort than it is from resort to resort, unless you're traveling within the Magic Kingdom resorts or Epcot resorts.

In your case, Port Orleans, it's much more difficult to get resort to resort in a shorter time. I give myself an hour for most transportation. It's possible that you will not have good "bus karma" and wait at the depot longer than expected.

In July, I was waiting for a Downtown Disney bus at Old Key West. I saw three buses for Epcot, four buses to the Magic Kingdom, and at least two buses for the Studios and Animal Kingdom before I ever saw the Downtown Disney bus. This isn't that common, but it does sometimes happen.

That's why it's a good thing to give yourself a time buffer when using Disney bus transportation.
