How long does it take for your CC status to update?

I'm sailing my 10th cruise on December 2nd this year, then my first Platinum sailing will be a month later, on January 5th, 2017. I know I still have to check in at 105 days as Gold for that January sailing since I will not officially be Platinum until after the December trip, but if I book Palo at that time for my January trip, will it be comped for the adult guests in my stateroom by the time I sail in January? And will I receive the Platinum level gifts, lanyard, etc. in January? I'm not sure how long it takes to update your status in the system after you sail. Thanks!

As soon as you complete your 10th sailing and disembark, it rolls over to your Platinum with the benefits. Give it a day or two, and then check your CC level.

The update is usually pretty fast. Sometimes it slips by and you may have to point out that you are now Platinum. Especially if the cruises are close together.

When we checked in for our first Gold cruise, they tried to give us a silver lanyard, but I told them that wasn't right and they just went and got the correct one.

Yes, your Palo comped meal will be in effect. If not, just point it out to them.

Most of the time. When my husband and I reached platinum, both our accounts showed that we each had 10 cruises, but his status changed to platinum, while mine remained gold. I gave it a couple of weeks, then contacted them. They fixed it.
