How long does CRT take?

How long does CRT typically take? We will be there in October and I am thinking of trying for CRT before the Halloween party.

Since we’ll be out late that night at the party I thought it would be a good day to sleep in a bit, let the kids swim and enjoy the resort. Then, head into MK a little later in the day, do some rides, eat and then do the party. What time would you make the ADR for? This will be our first time for CRT and the party, so I’d this is a bad idea for some reason, feel free to say so:)

90 minutes or so. Since you can get in for the party at 4, I’d book like 4:15 or 4:30 so you’re not rushed.

Or if you’ll have a separate park ticket for the day, we ate around 2, had fastpasses at 3, 4, and 5, and then did the party.

I would plan for a minimum of 90 mins at CRT. We had breakfast there a couple of years ago and waited over an hour just to be seated after taking our picture with Cinderella. I don't think that's the norm but I would make the reservation as early as possible to ensure no party time is missed.

Thank you! I was thinking it would be over an hour and my H said he thought that seemed long. I just don’t want to miss any of the party!

We ate there for the first time (and first time for a very long time, it’s so expensive) last week. We had a 1:15 reservation. I think we walked out around 2:30. From checking in to being called up to the banquest was 10-15mn. There were other groups seated around the same time as us that left sooner, and some groups that had been there before us were still there when we left. If you’re wanting to meet characters that start before the party (like the dwarves or Jack and Sally), take that into consideration when choosing a time. It’s a fantastic experience, have fun!

Thank you! We are on the dining plan, so I know we’ll use two credits. My daughter is right at the end of the princess age so I’m okay with the cost.
It’s probably our last year for the princess magic:(

What time do characters begin meeting? I need to read up more on the party activities to plan exactly what we want to do.

You’re never too old for princesses :) Our dining party was my grown self and my middle aged mom. There is something special about young kids meeting characters though.

Most characters start at 7 and the lines form a bit before that. Take a look at the official thread from last year; that’ll have all the information. Disney doesn’t release the times. If my memory is correct, the past few years Jack and Sally and Moana start around 5:30, and the dwarves at 6. The lines for these characters start a bit before 4, and if you’re not one of the first in line you will probably spend close to two hours waiting most nights.

Our lunch was only an hour or so. We saw all the princesses and did not order alcohol so we didn’t have a bill to take care of since it’s prepaid. TBH, I thought the experience was rushed and would have preferred a slower pacing.
