How long does chinese food last?

We got some on Friday night. I'm kinda wanting some fried rice, lo mein and beef and broccoli. Do you think its still good?

It's probably fine as long as it's been in the fridge the whole time. I would think that today would be the last day, thought.

Give it a good sniff--if it smells OK, just make sure to heat it up really, really hot. Hasn't killed me yet.

I love Chinese food but I can't stand it re-heated, I don't know why...just doesn't taste the same to me

Prepared food is 2-4 days (and I believe 4 days is even pushing it). I probably wouldn't eat it either unless we're talking about the fortune cookie!

I think the guideline is a maximum of 3 days if the temp is cold enough. I'm sure there is a food safety website floating around online.

If we have any take out food-Chinese or other. If it is not eatten by the second day, I toss it out. You don't know how fresh the ingredients were to begin with so I just don't take the chance.
