My DD has an appointment for 2:50 at Bibidi Bobidi to get her hair and makeup done, then we have an ADR for the Concourse Steakhouse at 5:40 and after that we are heading to MNSSHP. The CM told me that this would be enough time before our dinner ADR but I wanted to see if people on the board agree or not.

No I don't agree. I believe the time the Botique quotes for that package is 15 minutes. What would take 3 hours???? It doesn't take that long to get from DTD to the CR.

You have to remember wait times etc. Just because you have an apt. at a certain time doesn't mean you will be right in at that exact time. Just like any other reservation you could have to wait a bit. I think you should be fine making your ADR though. We opted for the middle package for our daughter and were told by CM to be there a little before our scheduled time and that it would take 30-45 minutes total. If you do a quick search there are several threads including reports from those who have gone that may help. Our DD's appointment is in August so all I can tell you is what we were told. I think you have enough time in between though so you shouldn't worry. Have a magical trip!!

I just checked the times on the photos I took during DDs visit two weeks ago - we had a 10am appointment and arrived about 5 minutes prior (I am usually way earlier than than that).

DD was seated somewhere around 10:25 - the first pic I took was 10:29, and by 11:04, I have a picture of her standing outside of the boutique, after I had paid.

So in our case it was 1 hour from appointment time to completion. The in chair time was about 1/2 hr.

We had the middle package, hair, nails and makeup - the difference in the nail and no nail package could only be about 5 minutes!

Here is here finished photo!

If you're running close on time, just take a taxi. The most it would cost is $15.00. Taking a taxi instead of a bus will make things less stressful! :thumbsup2

I love your DD's wild hair, my DD also thought she would try that look when I showed her the brochure pics. I was wondering about the amount of time that we might have to wait for our appointment. We haven't been to DD before does anyone know how long it usually would take to catch a bus to MK? It sounds like we should plan on having lunch over at DD, do some shopping and then head over for the appointment.

I thought the hair turned out cute... she's not the "princess" type - she's in a more funky stage - not so much a fou-fou stage! She did enjoy the experience!

I can't answer the question about the buses, but if I were you and you have not been to DTD before, I would spend some time in DTD before your appointment and enjoy some window shopping and a nice lunch!

DD and I will go there often in the evening or on a weekend day when we don't feel like the parks, but want some Disney magic. We have fun just browsing (we usually wind up shopping too). 12 Days of Christmas, Once Upon a Toy, WOD, and the Pin Trader shop are some of our favorites.

There is a McDs there, and other nice places for lunch. We usually get a treat from Ghiardelli's - my favorite are the choc covered strawberries and an iced latte! DD likes the free chocolate squares they give out!!!! Then we sit and people watch for a bit!

Earl of Sandwich has a nice selection of food. There is also Rainforest Cafe if you want something more!

We did this after our May 7 appointment. We arrived 'late' meaning right at the scheduled time and waited about 20 minutes for our seating. (I was just relieved that they let us in.) It took about 45 minutes for both of my daughters to get done. We took a cab to get to our Chef Mickey's appointment which we probably would have missed if we had waited on the buses The cost was $14 before tip. I've never taken a cab at WDW before but I'll do it again because it eliminated so much stress.

Where do you catch the cab at? Are there normally some there waiting? I am becoming a little concerned about my time-frame. My 2 nieces are getting their hair, makeup, and nails done at 4:20 and we have a 6:10 ressie at CGF in the Contemporary.(Shh, don't tell. It is a suprise! :thumbsup2 ) I thought it was plenty of time, but it sounds like it might take longet than I assumed.

At McDonalds and Lego Imagination Center head towards the parking lot. You will see a cab stand with a row of taxis. There is also a cab stand in front of Basin bath products and World of Disney store. I haven't been to BBB so I don't know which one is closer. Just head towards the parking lot and I'm sure you will see them lined up.
