how long do you usually stay at disney for?

This will be our first trip to all the Disney parks at WDW (We've been to MK and Epcot). We are staying 8 days/7 nights. I have no idea yet if that will feel rushed or just about right, but I can't imagine staying longer than 10 days at one time.

We stayed 7 nights last time and didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted. I think 10 nights would be fantastic... but a bit of a budget buster for me. We'll be doing another 7 night trip this time. It keeps us wanting to come back the next year. :)

We've done 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 night stays. The 10 night stay works well for us, and that is what I now pretty much think of as our minimum. It gives us enough time to not feel rushed and to take a couple of days off from park touring to relax at the pool so we don't end up wiped out by the end of the trip.

We've stayed 6, 7, 8 and 10 nights - 10 was the best!! We still didn't want to leave!! We do the parks about 1/2 of the days we are there, so we really enjoy the pool and hotel too. It feels relaxing.

We usually stay 7 nights, last year we did an 11 night trip. It was just about perfect! We took the parks at a relaxed pace and were actually starting to miss home (just a little). Money & work schedules don't always allow us to take a long trip, but 10-11 nights is perfect in my opinion. But that is not to say 7 nights is bad.

We usually stay 7 nights-2 travel days, 5 park days & 1 non park day.

Last year we did 8 nights with the same as above but did 2 non park days.

I love my non-park days since it is relaxing day.

My next trip I want to go for 2 weeks but DH doesn't. So I am hoping for 10-12 days. I do know I want 6 park days, 1 water park day, 2 travel days & with that I think we need 3 non-park days to rest up so that would be 12 days.

We stayed 10 days last year and felt that was enough. Initially we thought it was too long...but I really worked us hard;) So we thought we would do a shorter trip this year...but the more I think about it...I'm going to keep that number of days and just go easier...more relaxation...not so pressured to see and do everything. I think that will be the difference for us. So long story short...lol...I think 10 days is a great amount of time. 2 days for travel/air...12 days total.

My first multi-day trip was 4 nights and it wasn't enough time. So I planned a 7 night trip for last year. Still not enough time. Next year will be an 8 night trip. I'm sure it still won't be enough time!

our trips tend to be 8nights/9days. next year we are shooting for 9 nights/10 days. I have our days scheduled so the end of the trip is pretty open. We tend to hit a park a day in the beggining, so by day 4 we have done every park. We tend to use the days at the end to go back and ride rides we didn't get to or want to ride again. We usually end up w/ 1 day that we don't even hit the parks too. last year we had the 9 day trip and Tropical storm fay rolled in. The autotrain was cancelled for our departure and the next available train out was 5 days later!! We thought about driving home for maybe a mere second-- decided to stay and have more fun. We moved from OKW to CR and had a blast. We parked the van and didn't move it till the day we left. We truely loved having 13 days at the park! Even though the majority of the trip was rain , we truely think it was the best trip ever.

I pretty much always do eight nights/nine days. This past May I used the buy 4/get 3 free special and really missed that extra day.

Without kids, I used to do 4 nights, just as a mini getaway. But with kids, we try to do at least 7 nights, if the budget allows. Dh and I did 10 nights on our honeymoon and it was perfect.
Though our last trip was only 5 nights and it wasn't enough. I'm hoping our next trip can be at least 7 nights.

We are usually there for 12 nights, 10 days of park hoppers. We don't use tickets the day of arrival or departure so we get the full use of tickets. We used to just go 7-8, but the price difference makes the extra days worth it. Last year for the 4/3 deal we couldn't imagine cutting our trip shorter than 10 days of tickets so we did 2 weeks, 10 days of Park Hoppper, 1 day of 1 Park ticket... While we had fun, we were EXHAUSTED! our feet hurt for a week after we got home. 2 weeks may have been past our limit.

Ya never know, if they do 4/3 again, we'll have to suck it up and do another 2 weeks:rotfl:

We have done shorter trips but are now in a 10 night groove that we love. We always fly out late on the 11th day so that is our DTD day. Shorter trips are to frantic for a family of 6.

Our first trip last year was 7 nights - next year, we'll be going for 10 nights, which I'm hoping will be just perfect :)

We travel from the UK so we always stay 14 nights. We're working on making it 21 ! We love our trips to the US and especially Florida. We'd never want to stay less than 2 weeks.:yay:
