How long do the DVC resorts stay decorated after Christmas?

We just booked a 1 bedroom at BWV today for December 29 - January 3 hoping that the DVC resorts are still decorated for the holiday. Will the resorts still be decorated or are we going to miss out?

On 12/29, they'll probably have every bit of decoration still lin place. They do sometimes take a few things down for 12/31 (at OKW the hats come off the dolphins and the wreaths come off the bridge) but they are so subtle you may not even notice.

The Boardwalk lobby is truly spectacular at Christmas. Enjoy!

You should be fine. We were at BWV from 1/1 thru 1/6 in 2003 and were able to enjoy the decorations at the resorts. One night we decided to walk around (it was quite late) and were able to watch them take the tree down at the Dolphin (or was it the Swan).

We were at the BWV from Jan. 9-16 this year and the decorations were up until the day before we left.

I've been at WDW the very first week in January for several years (BWV 1/1-1/6 in 2005). Only thing is that if there's somthing you really want to see, get there fast! It's amazing to me how quickly decorations come down once they start. One year I went to Epcot on 1/2-saw the giant Christmas tree, the arch of lights, etc. Two days later-poof! Everything was gone-I didn't think all those decorations could be removed so quickly.

Thanks to all of you! Sounds like we should be able to see most, if not all, the Christmas decorations during that time! We're really looking forward to this trip...
