How long do I wait before calling again (doctor)?

I called and left a voice mail trying to get in to see my doc. It's 5 of 4 here now - how long do I wait till I call again or do I do just that and wait for them to call me?

i always keep calling until i reach the doctor.

i used to leave messages but it seemed like he never received them.

if you have a real need/reason to call, and you have been waiting around to hear from the office, call back again now.

remember, he works for you.
