We are WDW vets who are making our first trip as a family to DLR. We enjoy character breakfasts and, after reading many reviews, have settled on PCH Grill and Storytellers.
Our plan is to stay at DLH and have 4 park days (regular park opening will likely be 9 am each of these days). We plan to use one of these days to fully take advantage of 8 am Early Entry at DCA (starting at RSR) and another day to fully take advantage of 8 am Magic Morning at DL (starting at PPF). On each of those days, we'll probably just start out with a quick bite at the Coffee House in DLH, as it appears to be the most convenient place that opens before 7 am.
On the other two days we plan to do the character breakfasts at the earliest available time (7 am). Counting travel time, we figure these will likely each spill somewhat over into EE/MM (especially PCH Grill, since it's farther from the parks) but we're not sure how much.
I'm asking mainly to decide if I should even bother to try to take advantage of EE/MM on the days we do the character breakfasts. For example, if we can expect to be done by about 8ish, it seems we could still get some mileage out of EE/MM, especially if our plan on those days is not to start out with the most popular attraction in each park since we presumably visited these on the non-character breakfast days. For example, if our Storytellers breakfast ends not too long after 8 am, it seems like we should be able to take the GCH entrance into DCA and not have too much of a wait for TSM or CS.
If, however, we probably won't be done until 8:30 or later, then it seems counterproductive to go to the EE/MM park (especially from PCH Grill).
Thoughts?
