How long can I keep two res. at National

Hi,
Been searching out rentals at National for our trip, Dec. 29th thru Jan 7th. I have an Emerald Aisle reservation for $209(interm.) but I have 5 people (3 adults and 2 children) and so I made another reservation for a full size, no EA for $245. I know that I should cancel the first reservation but am wondering when is the very latest to do this. The second reservation didn't even ask for my credit card information! Last time the 5 of us went we did EA and ended up with a Toyota Van, although I've been hearing that this doesn't happen alot anymore, I can always hope! Also, can I add EA onto my reservation for the full size car without changing the price?

You would have to do Emerald Reserve for the full size, not Emerald Aisle. If you are not going to use the EA res, I would cancel no later than 48 hours before. You could try to change the EA res to full size, it should change over to Emerald Reserve, see what you get before hitting the final button.

National Car Rental may charge a fee for vehicles that are reserved but not rented, if the reservation is not canceled 24 hours prior to anticipated arrival.
No-show fees will be billed to the credit card given at the time of reservation.

You can try to modify the full size, but, there is no EA for full size, just Emerald Reserve. You might incur a price increase, but, you don't have to accept the modification if that happens, just keep the original. If you booked the full size after you signed in for the Emerald Club, it has all your information.
