How long *before* opening to arrive?

I am asking this question for my Sis and her family who will be at MK during our Feb. school vacation week(Feb. 16-20). Not sure which day they have set aside for it.

If the park opens at say 9 AM, what time should they plan to arrive in the parking lot? I know there is a rule of thumb, but haven't been myself since 2000 and can't remember what we did. It is their first time taking the kids, so I'm trying to give tips like this to make it go smoothly and so they can see as much as possible since they only have the one day at The World.

forgt to say that since they will only be there 1 day, they will need tp buy tickets there....which will take more time.

With having to buy tickets and considering the time of year you will be going, I have been told to be there 45 minutes to 1 hour. But, we usually stay on property and don't have to worry about driving & parking and then taking transportation to the park. Hope this helps!
