How long at waterparks?

We haven't been to the waterparks before, so I'm just curious: How long would you think is a good amount of time to stay there with a 3-year-old?

Are we going to be exhausted three hours in, or would we want to stay there all day? We have park hopper and plan on going probably three times to waterparks.

Our plan, no matter the park, is to head back to the resort in the afternoon for sleep/rest and head out again. Wondering if we should not plan anything the nights we go to waterparks? Or will we be fine going to the resort and resting after lunch?

Just to be certian you know, park hopper doesn't get you into water parks, you have to have have waterparks and more for that. Hopper only lets you move between the four main parks unless you have a UK ultimate ticket.

My dd would last tell about 2-3 when she was that age. We took turns, one of us with her and the other on the larger things. We went at opening, ate lunch there and by 2 she was begging to stay but SO ready for a nap.

We usually spend 3-4 hours at the Water parks. My kids love the water so could last all day if we let them. Last year we went to Discovery Cove and spent 9 hours in and around the water.

It really depends on how much your 3 year old would do when there. I would say 3 hours would be plenty. We usually do the WP the same day of EMH and spend the evening at one of the parks after dinner. We never get exhausted at the WP and find it relaxing.

I am sure others would disagree, but with a young child I would recommend Blizzard Beach. Just seems to be more of them to do and the wave pool at TL is a little much for young ones.

Both of my boys spent around an hour at that age going down the Ketchakiddee Creek water tube type ride over and over and over and over at Typhoon Lagoon. So if you have the time and WPF&M, then give TL some time, too.
