We are planning our first trip to Vero Beach. What is a good length of stay for that resort? For instance, is a week too long? We have a 12 year old daughter who is pretty easy going but will she be bored after a few days? Just wondering how long people usually stay.

We just returned from Vero. We spent 4 days/3 nights at the resort. We are not "beach" people. I think it was just about the right length for us. We enjoyed the miniture golf course, the pool, the spa, the tennis courts, basketball, nature walks, and a day at the beach. We also took a day trip to Port St. Lucie to see the Mets Spring Training. It was a really nice change from the park.

Four nights before heading to BWV, and because the weather was lousy, we were ready to leave. There isn't a lot to do there in bad weather, but in the summer when you can go to the beach, it will be better.

Depends. If your daughter will enjoy participating in activities that will keep her from getting bored. My boys have been going for the past five summers for trips that vary in length of 5-10 days. They enjoy the resort activities. We are all beach people in our family and spend very little time at the pool. If youa re use to a beacht hat has mini amusement parks and that type of thing VB is not for you. Its very laid back and relaxing.

We spent two nights last July with 36 people, 9 rooms, for a family celebration. Quite enough.

We have gone there once before for 2 days and that was not enough for us. For our trip in June we will be there for 4 nights, 5 days. We feel this will be more than enough. We will be with our 7 and 2 year old and my 13 year old sister. I think any longer than 5 days, they'll all be bored. It is a beautiful resort and a great place to just relax.

Thank you all for your responses. It seems like 4 nights would be a good stay!
