How long are your Disney World trips???

On average, how many nights is your typical continuous stay at Disney?

We have decided that 8 days is the perfect amount for our family, lets us have 2 days at each park. We usually only go to AK for one day, but it is nice to have the option, plus we usually hop from on park to another one in the evenings to go to a sit down restaurant.
Eight days is how my trips are usually planned for MNSSHP, MVMCP, and F&G. Plus I can do it with only five days off from work and still have a day at home to recover.

Ours are all over the place so I didn’t vote. We’re doing a 4 day trip next week, a 10 day trip in October and then an 18 day trip in January. This schedule is pretty typical for us.

Jealous of all these long stays! Mine might be two night stays, but we do about 11 of them a year!

When I’m there… there are NO OFFSITE BREAKS! The shows (Villains, Festival of the Lion King, etc) are my breaks to let my feet breathe.

Shorter trips for us due to work schedules, school schedules and family obligations. Standard are two 5 night trips for Easter break and August after camp ends. We squeeze in 4 night trips when school is out Presidents Week and if unused snow days get added to Memorial Day break.

I feel like a crazy person now. Our longest is fly in on Wednesday night and back out on Sunday
Not crazy at all! We are the crazy ones... we drive (about 10 hours plus stops) and will head down Sunday and then come home Thursday 🤣

Shoo, I could never, but props to all those who love to stay all day! Because of our schedules we've take a lot of summer trips in the past few years, and I just can't do it. The heat wrecks me, lol.

The "every year" trip is 7-8 nights. I have a few extra here and there, depending on what is going on in my life. Those are mostly 3-4 nights.

We usually do 14-16 nights but we are flying in from Vancouver Island and only come every other year. We'll be heading down in 2026 and will also be doing 4 nights at Universal before our DVC stays.

Our two long trips (15-20 nights each) are in October and December. We usually have 3-5 nights before and after our year cruise. And throw 5-7 night trip somewhere else during the year.

My ideal trip length is 5 nights, but lately I've just been doing 4. I know some people just like the vacation vibe or the weather, etc. but long, loosely planned trips make me climb the walls. I plan each day of my vacation in advance and only add a day if I have something I'm excited about doing.

As a point miser, usually go 5 nights, Sun-Thur of course.:) Though will try to do 2-3 trips a year. So maybe not really saving with the airfare. As retirees, we do take other trips that are longer from 7-30+ nights throughout the year . Not sure I’d want to do more than a week at Disney, but haven’t tried it so can’t knock it.

We usually do 14 nights minimum, flying from the UK, the flights are quite expensive and long! We have 2 trips a year.

Usually 10-14 nights as we’re from the UK. Next one is just 7 nights in June to use up some banked points from the resale contract we bought and it’s my 40th so why not?
