how long are you willing to stand in a line?

I've wondered if it was just me, but I can manage to stand in lines for long times (100+ minutes).

What is your max time you would stand in a line for?
What rides would you be willing to stand in for that said time?
20 minutes is about my limit. Not paying thousands of dollars to stand in line in Florida heat. I've entered a line with a posted wait of longer than 20 minutes only a handful of times.

I assumed it was a poll, considering how many people are here...

30 minutes. We've ridden everything at least 1-2 times so, no, 30 minutes is about tops.

20 minutes. We went every other August growing up and I remember hating when it was our Disney year. Lines and heat =misery for me.

So now with my family, nothing more than 20 minutes.

the most we stood in line was 20 minutes... but we didn't get to ride 7dwarfs.. kinda sad about that... the wait was too long and could not get a fast pass :(

20-25 minutes top. I had to make this rule because DS will literally wait hours for Splash......even after telling him I have a FP.

15-20 minutes. That's why my wife and I go in February. Nice weather and low crowds. If the line is any longer than the 20 minutes we just walk on by.

I amazed at peeps who will spend 1.5 hours in line... splash mountain is good.. but not 1.5 hrs good.. actually no ride is IMO

20 minutes is ideal, but I could maybe wait up to an hour or so depending on what ride, what time, what else has shorter waits, etc. we waited 40 minutes for Peter Pan back in the spring.

Generally 20 minutes. Of course, there are exceptions. I waited 90 minutes to ride Escape from Gringotts at Universal - but that was the shortest wait all day and the ride had only been opened for a few weeks at that point. Generally speaking, I can plan my disney days to avoid long waits. Next time we go to Universal we are staying on site to take advantage of the early park opening.

We are also 20 minutes max. We are willing to get up early and rope drop, hit the headliners / use FP+, then do rides / attractions with 20 min or less wait time. Having said that, we do longer trips (this trip is 16 nights) so we get lots of opportunity to visit the parks. I think that if my trip were short (a week or less), then I'd be willing to do a line up to 30-40 min.
I would wait for Soarin' and Safari.
Wow! 16 nights!! Sounds like a blast!

20-30 minutes.

We did wait 45 minutes for Test Track. It was a must do and our last park day. (Pesky tiered fp system!) :)
Everyone thought it was worth the wait, btw.

Yes, we started Disney trips when youngest DD was 2 years old. Stayed 6 nights at all star sports (figured 6 nights was 'long' enough:rotfl2:; also figured we'd only do Disney once lol :rotfl:). Now youngest DD is 14 and we go every August for at least for 2 weeks. It's 'Our Laughing Place' :-) People who don't go to Disney think we're crazy, but people on the Dis understand  lol.

Without my kids, I can stand in line for a long time like almost 2 hours (warehouse sales, etc). But nowadays my kids dictate how long we are in line for anything, lol.

The longest we've lined up for a ride, I think is about an hour - soft opening for SDMT on our last night at WDW in May 2014..well worth it!

I thought 20-30 mins was my max (when we have the kids with us - bc I didn't think they would handle longer) but then our last trip we decided to wait 60 minutes to ride 7DMT in the dark! This was after just getting off it as it was slightly starting to darken....and we had already ridden it 4 different days with FP! So....apparently at some crazy moments we will wait longer...but still it's mostly. 20-30 mins max.

However, if my husband and I don't have the kids with us (my parents traveled with once and hung out with the kids a bit) we were willing to wait probably up to 90 mins to ride what we wanted. It was the only way we could do it since we used FP for stuff we could do with the kids.
