We are leaving next Saturday for a week in WDW. My dgd and I ADORE Tinkerbell so, of course, we have to meet her in person. I know when Pixie Hollow first opened, the lines were pretty long but how about now? Do we still need to be at rope drop when Toon Town opens? TIA!

My wife, my mom and myself were there pretty much at Toon Town opening on Thursday and we were probably about 20-30 minutes back in line. They do spend a decent amount of time with families, even those of us without children. They do spend more time with the kids of course and it was cute to watch the fairies playing with, especially Tink. Tink was awesome if she had some time between families. She would 'fly around' sometimes and just whistle and check stuff out. Of course then she would get her tude and sit on the ground with her arms crossed and her back partially to us :rotfl2: and get that 'pout' look going. We got to meet Iridessa (sp) and Silvermist also.

We were there Jan. 8th around 11 and the cast member told us 45 minutes when we got in line. The line didn't look all that long so we decided to get in line. It ended up taking us a little over an hour and half. The reason being I think is because they only take a few families back at a time and they fairies interact with them.

I was there January 5th and the wait posted was 60 min...it took us 75 but it was well worth it...we had a blast in there!

Do they have Photopass Photographers there to take photos?

Yes, they did have PhotoPass Photographers when we were there in November. The CM passed out a free miniature Photopass card wristband for guests to use & wear... I ended up saving it since I already had a Photopass card going from our other days at the park.

The wait in November was 45 minutes around 11am. I look forward to meeting Silvermist and Fawn this trip in February... (All three of the fairies we met in November were charming (Tink, Iridessa and Rosetta), but Rosetta was our favorite because my family fell in love with her accent.

Good to hear that the morning wait times are more reasonable.

Yes, there was one for each fairy.

We got to Toontown right at 10:00 and waited about 20 mins to see Tink. That was on January 14th. Later in the day the line was one hour. The good news is that the Princess line was much shorter.

We are planning on seeing the fairies on the first day of our trip . DD6 was Silvermist for halloween and can't wait to meet her. My plan was to let my wife get in line at rope drop and my DD6 and I will hit rides in fantasy land and then join my wife in line at 10:00. Will there be any problems with this plan?

I don't know how busy rope drop is at Toontown but you might have problems of people not wanting you to cut to meet up with your wife.

Just make sure your DD isn't disappointed if Silvermist isn't one of the fairies there at the time.

Keep in mind that they are opening Toontown early these days. We got there at 9:45 on Monday, and it was already open.

We were there the week of Thanksgiving and waited 3hours to see Pixie Hollow and the fairies. My daughter loved it.

Thanks for the info. Is there way to figure when Silvermist will be one of the fairies!

I'm not sure if there's a schedule but maybe if you talk to the CM when you get there and they could tell you.

Personally we met Tinkerbell, Iridessa, and Fawn.

My aunt and uncle brought their granddaughter there just 6 days ago and got there at rope drop- they waited 5 minutes. I think they just got lucky though. They must have raced over there. After the fairies they rode dumbo twice in twenty minutes total...it must have been a good day for them.

That is lucky. As we were leaving fawn told us to come back and play again. My mom said something like sorry, we don't plan on waiting in line that long again. Fawn got all sad looking and I was like good job mom.

We just got back yesterday. That is a very slow moving line!! I really wish they had posted who was in Pixie Hollow because I followed some advice that Silvermist and Rosetta tend to be there at night and was sorely disappointed after an hour line. (We had already waited 45 minutes a few days earlier so we ended up seeing Fawn and Iridessa with Tink a second time). I asked the cast member at the beginning of the line who was there and she told me she didn't know and wasn't able to find out. They don't have active line management like with some of the other characters saying five more minutes of this character etc.

We're there last holidays, we waited in line for 40-50mins almost, but it's worth it, my 2 DS really loves it.

we were there just this past saturday. We were at Toontown rope drop at 10am and me and DH were the first ones in line to see Tink!

She is ADORABLE! and very very tiny!:goodvibes
