how long are sauces good

once they've been opened? Like salad dressings, Dale's marinade, BBQ sauce?
I always throw them out when the bottle is about 1/2 empty & I bet they're still good but I never know....

I don't know...I have the same issue. (Except for salad dressings..I noticed they are always dated.) I am always afraid that it is not good, so I toss it. It may still be ok, I'm sure that there are a lot of preservatives in these sauces.

I've kept salad dressing in the fridge forever and used it. But not after the use by date. BBQ sauce might be a little more "iffy".

oh the sell by date goes for another year at least - I throw out WAAAY before that

I keep salad dressing until we use it all.. usually a few months, I throw away by the "use by" date, though. BBQ sauce I only keep for 2-3 weeks, although we usually use it all by then. I've had a bottle of Dale's in my fridge for probably a year.. I don't think that it ever really goes bad, maybe just loses some flavor.

BBQ sauces dont go bad or really any sauce with enough vinegar in it.

no need to throw out way before "USE BY" date. Just keep till that week! that is what the use by dates are for!

We keep those kinds of things until the Use by date, as well.
