How long are LL wait times really?

So now that the parks are packed with summer crowds, how long are the LL wait times (for real) during this busy time of year? Once you got in a LL, how long did you wait? How long did you wait in LL for ROTR? Space Mountain? Haunted Mansion? GOTG? Other LL attractions? Really curious to know. Thanks.
Just got back from 3 day trip. ROTR less than 5 mins , Hyperspace 15 minutes, Haunted Mansion 10-15min, Big Thunder 5-10 mins. Incredi-coaster 5-10 min, Midway Mania 10-15 mins, Radiator Springs 15 mins, Rode them all multiple times

We waited 25 minutes in the LL for Splash yesterday. Waited about 20 for Indy. Most others were faster, 10-15 minutes.

Those wait times sound great! Will be buying lightning lanes for sure. How much do they all cost?
Wait, don’t get too excited on the actual wait times. It’s the downtime between the rides that kills genie+. I suggest you monitor the LL return times in advance of your trip to see if those gaps work for you. From what I’ve seen, unless you are there at ropedrop and can snag a few multi attraction passes on a down ride, the actual utility might not work out for you.

I totally agree. I have used Genie+ a few times now and it’s a really disappointing product. 🤷‍♀️

Splash Mountain this afternoon around 4:30 was a doozy in the LL. 45 minutes. Longest LL ever for us. No good reason for it either. Ride had not gone down or anything.

There are strategies for minimizing down time, like doing non-LL rides between LL rides. One thing that is for sure - it is NOT like MaxPass where you could go from e-ticket to e-ticket ride all day. We did find we went from attraction to attraction with very little backtracking, with our only downtime being time we purposely chose to do shopping or go back to our rental to rest and swim. Stacking during the afternoon for evening rides also worked well for us to avoid downtime between rides, especially since return times for several rides were still quite fast for many rides (not e-ticket).

In a lot of ways, G+ worked better for my family because I wasn't dragging them around as much like I did with MP, and we avoided a lot of back tracking. Things lined up well for us though, and I know it doesn't always work that way with return times.

The problem is on busy days the return times are so far out. You basically run out of time in the day because you have to wait so long in between returns. And the standby lines are so long in the afternoons that it’s hard to find filler rides while you wait.

I went on a Wednesday (two days ago) and while the park didn’t feel completely slammed, by early afternoon the return times were 1-2 hours for things like Autopia, Star Tours, Buzz Lightyear, HM, etc) and for the E-ticket rides they were 2-6 hours. It’s also frustrating that you can’t get a new LL once your next window opens, you have to actually scan in or wait the two hours.

Every time I use Genie+ (which is only when family is visiting from out of town) I am left feeling frustrated and disappointed. MaxPass was so much better. And having to pay for RotR, RSR and WS is just a slap in the face from Disney.

We were able to skip the afternoon crush, and by evening times for things like Star Tours were back to near immediate, which was great for us. Fishing also works for G+ similar to MP. It is hard not to compare it to MP which I agree was a vastly superior offering. I'd happily pay more for G+ if it included all the rides even with the one-ride limit. In general the G+ lines are shorter than the FP lines used to be though, so I'm guessing they are releasing fewer at each time slot, resulting in times shifting longer. Hopefully they fine-tune the system. It doesn't seem to really work at all at WDW.

One minute thirty five seconds
The longest wait time we had for any LL was 15 minutes. A couple of times the LL ride was down, which was a big disappointment. Rise was down for ages on Friday morning. They extended the ILL to be valid all day. Went back at 1:30 and the line was 30 minutes long. So we left and went back around 8:40pm and it was a walk on. Indy was also down for a long time on Friday so we got a MEP for that. We ended up using it for Pirates at 7:30 pm. :)

Just spent 5 days and on average I agree with ten minutes. Soarin was always the longest wait. We did a paid LL for Radiator Springs Racers and waited 38 minutes which was half of the posted wait time. I was furious to pay to wait that long.

I am curious if you complained?

These seem very low waits versus what the youtube blogger claim?

Were these recently?
I’m at Disneyland right now, July 5, and all the times posted up to this point in the thread are pretty accurate. The longest we waited in any LL was about 20 min, that was for Indiana Jones, everything else was 5-15 min, including the busy ones like RotR and Space Mountain.

Oh yes! They refused to refund or let me ride again as they stated LL does not guarantee a max wait time. I was 100% polite but refused to give up. They finally gave me a LL for any non paid LL or non LL ride. We waited to use it toward the end of the night for Hyper Space Mountain. The LL didn’t go away so we used it the rest of the night. Wish we had known that earlier.
